In addition to importing database information, AutoPrice can also be used as a tool to extract content from existing QuarkXPress® or Adobe® InDesign® documents. It can also be used to create a PDF version of your catalog with embedded hyper-links and document references.

AutoPrice Exporter Pro™
When your document is your database.

AutoPrice Exporter Pro allows you to organize and extract content (text, picture, and styling information) from QuarkXPress™ or InDesign documents. Information in the document pages is “tagged” using a special palette which contains a list of user-defined categories and metadata. The AutoPrice Exporter Pro module then extracts the tagged data and organizes it into a database-compatible format according to a set of predefined specifications. This data can be used to populate Web, e-Commerce, or Digital Content databases.

Unlike other products, the AutoPrice Exporter Pro module is powerful enough to handle even the most sophisticated requirements, and it easily handles complicated product associations, such as multiple SKU's which all share the same description or price. In addition, style-sensitive text formatting and translation table support permit export of complex numeric data, such as fractions.
