The MPS Page Printer™ module for QuarkXPress and Adobe InDesign allows you to output each page or spread of a document in EPS or PostScript format. For EPS output, QuarkXPress users have the option of embedding fonts within the EPS files (requires the use of the free MPS Font Collector™ XTensions module). For PostScript output, you have the option of creating PostScript disk files, or printing directly to a PostScript printer. The handy “Page Selection” dialog makes it easy to choose the pages or spreads you want to print, and the naming options give you control over the final output filename. Page Printer is a must-have for anyone working with third party imposition systems, or publishing PDF pages to the web.

The Grabber™ XTensions
Our Grabber tools will change the way you work with QuarkXPress documents forever! Each grabber module adds an easy-to-use tool to the QuarkXPress tool palette so that you can quickly and easily marquee the text you wish to modify, even across multiple text boxes. Font Collector
Font Collector XTensions gather up all of the fonts used in a single QuarkXPress document including those used in EPS graphics. The XTensions create a single suitcase file containing all required screen fonts, and then copies the printer (outline) fonts into the same folder. When the collection is finished, the user is presented with a detailed font usage report. Picture Placer
Picture Placer XTensions provide an alternative to the QuarkXPress “Get Picture...” feature. These XTensions let you import a picture and select from 5 different positioning options. One option allows you to retain all of the parameters associated with the current picture. This feature is great for swapping out FPO images when preparing for service bureau output. It also lets you selectively filter image names at the time you perform the import, or select an image that has a different “type” than the current image. Picture Namer
Picture Namer XTensions identify each picture that has been placed in a QuarkXPress document. The XTensions will place a text box on top of each picture box in the document, and then fill that box with the name of the picture. The text and/or box size is automatically adjusted to accommodate the picture name, and several different box positioning options can be specified. The new version also permits specification of the background color to use for the name boxes. The picture name boxes can be toggled on and off and can also be suppressed from printing. Print Selector
Print Selector XTensions allow you to select and print any portion of a QuarkXPress document page. This unique tool saves both time and material cost by eliminating the need to print complete pages, making it ideal for document design and proofing purposes. Users specify the area of a page to print by using the Print Selector tool to drag a Marquee around the desired area. Print Selector will automatically calculate the dimensions of the area and allow the user to adjust them before printing. The selected area can be printed using the standard QuarkXPress print dialog, or can be exported as an EPS file as well. Print Selector also works with the Font Collector XTensions module to (optionally) download and embed outline font information in EPS graphics that have been created using the product.
