Q. What do I need to start selling DesignMerge?

A. If you have an immediate sales opportunity, you can simply place the order with Meadows Publishing Solutions. Otherwise, we suggest downloading a DesignMerge Data Sheet and one of the PDF sample output files from the dealer resources page. We would be happy to assist with a demonstration via the web, which is typically an excellent closing tool for our software.

Q. How do I get a demo copy of DesignMerge for our showroom?

A. Two ways. One way is to download the demo software. The demo version is fully operational, and includes the PPML Driver, but is limited to processing 25 records and 25 links per layout. The second way is to become an Authorized DesignMerge Reseller. Authorized resellers are offered NFR (Not For Resale) product at a fraction of the list price. This software is for demo and presentation purposes only and is not transferable for client use.

Q. What do I need to demo DesignMerge?

A. QuarkXPress, DesignMerge, and the product demo files (available on our dealer resources page). You can create your own demo files, of course, or you can use the Tutorial Files included with your download.

Q. Who do I contact for technical support?

A. Contact Meadows Publishing Solutions directly for assistance with any issues relating to DesignMerge.

Q. What version of QuarkXPress is required to use DesignMerge?

A. Please see our Requirements page for details on the operating system and QuarkXPress version requirements, as well as hardware requirements necessary for running the DesignMerge software.

Q. How are upgrades handled?

A. Most upgrades are simply handled via a new download from our website. Major numerical upgrades (eg from 5 to 6) will require an upgrade fee, as well as a new activation code. Demo/NFR software for Authorized Resellers will be upgraded at no charge.

Q. What is required to become a DesignMerge Authorized Reseller?

A. In exchange for increased margin, we are looking for a commitment to purchase and a Demo Unit purchase. Please contact us directly to review the program in its entirety.
