Package 1— Web-based Training

One-on-one training! A DesignMerge® expert leads a training session based upon the tutorials that are included in the DesignMerge software package, while offering exclusive insight and tips for the selected output driver. The trainee actually “drives” the software, with the instructor guiding the process (the online meeting software allows for this capability). A single trainee receives the bulk of the training, thereby creating an “in-house DesignMerge expert.”

The scope of the training is defined by the tutorials, with a maximum online instruction time of four hours. Actual “delivery” time may vary, based on the knowledge-level and capabilities of the trainee.

Package 2— Web-based Training + First-job Setup

Building on Package 1, Package 2 adds a measure of confidence for the clients's first variable data printing (VDP) job. After receiving the initial training (as described under Package 1), the client provides to Meadows Publishing Solutions, all of the elements for the VDP job including the QuarkXPress layout, cleaned data-file, and all associated fonts and images. (These file can be quickly and easily uploaded to the Meadows FTP site.)

Within two business days of receiving the required files, Meadows will provide to the client a QuarkXPress layout prepared for output, along with a 25-record PDF proof, as verification of the process. The final merge will be executed by the client.

Package 3— One-day On-site Installation & Training

Instruction is held on-site at the client's premises. The scope of the training is defined by the DesignMerge® tutorials, with particular emphasis placed on output to the client's equipment. Delivery is one day, eight hours maximum. Meadows Publishing Solutions is not responsible for issues that may arise with regard to the controller or output device.

Package 4— One-day On-site Training + First-job Setup

In addition to the training described under Package 3, Package 4 includes the first VDP job setup, as described under Package 2.
